Yes, you can change the color of your fridge with custom made aluminium powder coating available in 310 colours.
Your appliance will not be painted. It will be coated with 0,08mm aluminium sheets, which will be painted in the colour of your choise with electrically charged powders.
2. What type of appliances can be coated with coloured aluminium or inox?
The type of appliances that can be coated with powder coated aluminium sheets in 310 colours are: top mount freezer, bottom mount freezer, side by side refrigerator, retro fridge, retro refrigerator, one door refrigerator, compact mini bar, wine cabinet, chest freezer, four door refrigerator, french type refrigerator, dishwasher, dryer, built in oven, built in microwave oven, etc.
3. What is the standard procedure for coating my domestic appliance?
a1) You can visit us to see our work and to choose your colour preference as well as the handles you want for your fridge, or
a2) you can book an appointment for us to come to the location where the fridge that you need coated is.
b) You choose the colour and surface texture you wish your fridge or dishwasher to have from our official colour pallet, while we pick up the aplliance's doors and bring them to our facilities for coating.
c) Your appliance's doors will be ready just 2-3 business days after we have received the colour coated sheets. We then book an appointment with you to come and mount the doors on the appliance and also coat the rest of the appliance at its location.
4. I am going to purchase a new refrigerator. What is the process I need to follow in order to get my refrigerator coated?
If you are planning on purcessing a new refrigerator and you want it coated in coloured aluminium you can ask your retailer to deliver your newly aquired fridge directly to us. Your new and newly coated refrigerator will be delivered to it's final destination (in Attica) by us after the coating process has been completed. In the case that the refrigerator's final destination is outside Attica, you are kindly requested to cover the delivery cost of your coated refrigerator upon arrival.
5. What is the duration of the coating process?
Ôhe coating process duration is 2-8 business days.
6. Are there frames and/or screws used for the coating of the appliance?
No. Frames and screws are not used for the coating. The appliance's coating is done without any screws and/or frames used.
7.What is electrostatic painting?
electrostatic painting, (aka: powder coating), is a method for painting metals, using electrically charged powders to create a smoother finish and a variety of effects. electrostatic painting, will last longer than other types of paint and does not require environmentally harmful solvents.
8. What is the procedure for customers outside Attica & Cuprus?
Customers in all other areas of Greece & Cuprus, (excluding Attica customers), are kindly requested to ship the appliance's doors or the appliance to us at their own cost expense and also cover their return expense. If the appliance is to be purchased, it can be directly delivered to Cosmidis Coating and after the coating has been concluded the appliance will be shipped to their destination of choice.
9. Can the coating be replaced by new coating?
Yes it can. Your refrigerator and/or dish-washer can be partly, or fully coated again in the future.
10. Are there specific products in the market for cleaning stainless steel surfaces?
You can wipe clean your stainless steel surfaces, by spraying a very small amount of oils specifically made for stainless steel surface cleaning. Wipe gently with a soft cloth. You can find these oils in any hardware store near you.
11. What can I use to clean my powder coated appliance`s surface?
Your coated appliance can easily be cleaned with soap and a slightly wet cloth. Attention! Do not use rough sponges and heavy deturgants or chemicals on the surface of your appliances.
